Whirl March 2002

Story by Jack Tumpson

It's a "Club." It's a "Night Spot!

It's a "Comfort Lounge." The newest addition to Pittsburgh's entertainment landscape can be called all these things and more.

Bossa Nova opened this holiday season with a private reception for some 200 guests of the house. Managing partners Robin Fernandez,

Eric Fernandez and Michael Schumacher created the new 7,200 square-foot facility with the "over 25 crowd" in mind.

The unique interior was designed by local architect Ross Bianco and a menu of eclectic and appetizing

Tapas complements a full-service bar with a house specialty drink called the "Mojito." Located seventh Street, Downtown, in the heart of the Cultural District, Bossa Nova is the new Place to see and be seen.
